Otaku Delhi Hackathon

1. Core Principle: Respect

The Otaku Delhi Hackathon is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment in any form.

2. Harassment & Anti-Discrimination Policy

Harassment includes, but is not limited to: offensive verbal or written comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

3. Academic Integrity & Open Source Policy

All projects must be built during the hackathon timeframe. Using pre-existing code is allowed ONLY if:

4. AI Usage Policy

The use of Artificial Intelligence tools (like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) is permitted and encouraged as development aids. However, entirely AI-generated projects with no human-authored architecture or meaningful modification will be heavily penalized in the judging criteria.

By attending the hackathon, you grant the organizers permission to capture photos and videos of you and your work. These materials may be used for promotional and educational purposes. Your personal data collected during registration will be handled securely and will not be sold to third parties.

7. Organizer Authority & Consequences

The organizers reserve the right to enforce these rules. Anyone violating the Code of Conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon without a refund (if applicable) and disqualified from all prizes, at the discretion of the event organizers.

8. Reporting Misconduct & Emergency

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a hackathon organizer immediately. Organizers can be identified by their distinct badges/shirts.
